Welcome To Brady Food, my name is Brady Hauserman, and we are back making a Bacon Cheeseburger Tater Tot casserole!
In this recipe, you'll need beef (1 lb should be enough, but I used 2.25 lbs of beef), 1/2 pack of bacon (about 6 or 8 slices depending on the package), about 1/3 cup of water for the bacon, 1 to 1 1/2 cups of cheese more if needed, tater tots, and J&D's Bacon Salt! First, you need to preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Next, cook your beef and bacon to a crisp and browned (crisp for bacon, browned for beef), and set aside. Then, grease your 9x13 pan and place your tater tots in one layer, add your beef, cheese, and bacon, and top with the rest of the tater tots and leftover beef and bacon, maybe a little more cheese but I would do that 5 minutes before it's done before you put it in the oven, sprinkle some J&D's Bacon Salt to give it flavor, you don't need much because the cheese and bacon are already salty as it is and put the casserole in the oven for 35-40 minutes. Finally, let cool and enjoy! You can top your casserole with tomatoes, onions, pickles, lettuce, ketchup, mustard, or any topping there is, but the plain version is pretty good!
